Still, the series does give a look at smaller aspects of what these people have been through with flashbacks and Rue's narration. Only two episodes have provided a new backstory for characters before diving into the present-day content.

In some cases, things like death and drug addiction molded them. Meanwhile, there are others who were bullied or surrounded by toxic masculinity. For the most part, these were very tragic. All but one episode in season 1 opened by detailing what various characters had been through before the series actually premiered. One of the most interesting things about HBO's Euphoria is the way the show dives into the backstories of each main character.
